Fishermen don’t realize that they are working on a sea of fuel
World news Thursday, October 8th, 2015Fishermen everywhere don’t realize that they are working on a sea of fuel. They don’t realize, yet, that the very same waters from which they net fish is also a source of fuel that can power their boats. The technology already exists to power every fishing boat in the World using the water they sail and work on. The technology is electrolysis of water (H2O).
Electrolysis was first discovered over 200 years ago. Electrolysis breaks the molecular bonds in water to release the hydrogen and oxygen as a gas. Hydrogen is a zero-emission fuel which can be used in combustion engines, to power all vehicles and boats. We need only apply this 200 year old technology to fueling every fishing boat in the World.
The first step to fueling all fishing boats with the water they sail and work on is to design a simple and compact device that will break the molecular bonds in water and release the hydrogen and oxygen gas fuel. That is now being done. The next step is to build a prototype of the design. A prototype can then be used to conduct tests and fine tune the technology so that the hydrogen gas fuel can be produced on-demand and efficiently.
Above video was made and posted on Youtube in 2006 by presscore.ca editor, Paul W Kincaid, demonstrating electrolysis of water. Just 4.5 volts was used to break the molecular bonds in water to release the hydrogen and oxygen gas. Water can also produce zero emission hydrogen fuel and oxygen using a mass produced and very low voltage solar panel as demonstrated in the video below.

Many thanks to Reidpath Cold Storage in Richibucto NB Canada for giving me work when I was totally broke and living on the streets in Moncton, NB. It was while working at Reidpath Cold Storage that I came to realize that the fishing boats docked across the road could all be fueled by the water that they sail and work on. I had already designed and built a number of electrolysis of water fuel cells in the past. I was designing them for automobile and on-demand home heating fuel use but never thought about how fishermen everywhere could also benefit from the technology.
Today I am out of work again and don’t know how long I can survive without money for food and shelter so I thought it best that I publish this article so that everyone can benefit from this knowledge and hopefully someone more fortunate than I will develop this technology.
