Production of the electric automobile, powered by a rechargeable lead acid battery, began in 1907. The automobile manufacturer at the time was the Anderson Electric Car Company. They built electric automobiles including the electric automobile called the Detroit Electric. For an additional $600.00 an Edison nickel-iron battery was available from 1911 to 1916. The cars were advertised as reliably getting 80 miles (130 km) between battery recharging, although in one test a Detroit Electric ran 211.3 miles (340.1 km) on a single charge. A year later, in 1908, Henry Ford began mass production of the infamous gasoline air polluting car known as the Model T.
Did you know that the Ford Motor Company was a SUBSIDIARY of the Rockefeller owned Standard Oil Company? It was 1908 that marked the beginning of the World being enslaved by oil. An enslavement that must now be abolished. How can we be free again? If is was easy to develop electric cars back in the early 1900s then today would be a piece of cake as we are more advanced today than we were then.
The energy to power the World’s machinery and cars for thousands of years can be derived from electromagnetic wave conductors. We have known for 80+ years that electromagnetic energy can be used to harness the freely available electromagnetic radiation and power the World. A simple antenna is an electromagnetic conductor which converts harnessed radio waves in free space to an electrical current. This electromagnetic conversion can power all our machinery, including our cars and trucks.
Electromagnetic conversion has already been utilized with remarkable successful some 80 years ago. Supported by the Pierce-Arrow Co. and General Electric in 1931, Nikola Tesla, inventor of the AC generator, took the gasoline engine from a new Pierce-Arrow and replaced it with an 80-horsepower AC electric motor with no external power source.
Tesla reportedly bought 12 vacuum tubes, some wires and assorted resistors, and assembled them in a circuit box 24 inches long, 12 inches wide and 6 inches high, with a pair of 3-inch rods sticking out. Getting into the car with the circuit box in the front seat beside him, he pushed the rods in and announced, “We now have power”. Using no gasoline whatsoever Tesla proceeded to drive the car without having to stop and recharge and at speeds of up to 90 mph.
As the AC motor can only operate on AC electricity (alternating current that is typically supplied in a home) the single 12 volt car battery wasn’t the source of power as a car battery supplies only DC (direct current) electricity. So what was the source of power that powered the AC electric motor? Electromagnetic (EM) energy which Tesla successfully proved is a free source of power that is “everywhere present in unlimited quantities”.
The 1931 Pierce Arrow demonstration proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that we don’t need any gasoline, propane or natural gas whatsoever to power our automobiles.
An electric powered automobile possesses many advantages that the noisy and polluting gasoline cars could not offer.
First and foremost is the silence one experiences when riding in an electrically powered vehicle. One simply turns a key to complete the electric circuit and steps on the accelerator – the vehicle moves instantly! No cranking from the start, no pumping of the accelerator, no spark control to advance, no exhaust pipes, no leaking gas tanks, no clogged fuel pumps or lines, zero emissions and no tuneups. One simply turns the electrical power switch to on and off you go!
Second, is a sense of power. If one wants to increase speed, you simply depress the accelerator further – there is never any hesitation. Releasing the accelerator causes the vehicle to slow down immediately – you are always in complete control.
Thirdly, the electric cars envisioned by Tesla are a lot lighter as there were no battery packs (only a single 12 volt battery was used to power the lights), no gas tank with heavy liquid gasoline or diesel, no exhaust system (no muffle, catalytic converter, or pipes) and no heavy combustion engine.
Lastly and most importantly the source of energy for his vehicle is available for free. You would never have to recharge this vehicle. You would never have to pay 1¢ to any electrical company. Since the source of energy that powered Tesla’s electric car in 1931 was energy harvested from electromagnetic (EM) waves that is everywhere present, this type of electric car has unlimited range.
Tesla used an antenna to capture this free energy and he was able to drive for hours with no stopping whatsoever for a recharge. If he drove and ended up in the middle of nowhere he could stop and rest and continue on in a couple of hours or even days without ever having to worry about running out of energy.
It is not difficult to understand why these vehicles were so very popular around the turn of the century. It is now obvious why the electric car was killed 80 years ago. There was no money to be made by the oil companies nor the electric power companies. Even government couldn’t make money from this type of electric car. With gas powered cars the government could charge a tax on every gallon or liter of gasoline or diesel fuel. Freely available electromagnetic energy could not be metered nor regulated and therefore taxed.

The technology continues to exist today (proof is provided with the all-electric Telsa Roadster shown above) to free mankind of the war causing, global warming causing and disease causing fossil fuels. Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edison already showed us how some 80 years ago. Converting all vehicles from gasoline to electric can be done today, not decades from now.
Every automobile on the road today can easily be converted from a polluting gasoline combustion vehicle to a zero emission electric vehicle. Tesla showed us how easy it was. Tesla took a 1931 gasoline powered Ford Pierce Arrow, removed the straight-8 gasoline engine, installed an electric motor and drove the car on free electromagnetic energy and at speeds up to 90 mph. By using freely available electromagnetic energy Tesla’s conversion didn’t need to be plugged in for a recharge – ever. An infinite source of energy is emitted by our sun, particularly in the form of electromagnetic energy. This electromagnetic energy can be harnessed (as Tesla did using a simple antenna) to generate Free Electricity. Electromagnetic energy from the sun has powered life on Earth for many millions of years.
If a group of high school kids can build a 300 mpg+ electric car then the big three domestic auto makers and foreign auto makers can. If kids can, adults surely can. All it would take is a group of auto mechanics and electricians to get together and start work on converting all gasoline and diesel powered vehicles to all electric motor vehicles. Until the major manufacturers start building electric cars then it is up to us to provide the technology to cut off the chains of oil slavery and usher in a new era in automotive history.

Lightning is absolute proof that free electrical energy is all around us. The average lightning bolt contains a billion volts at 3,000 amps, or 3 billion kilowatts of power, enough energy to power a major city like Toronto Ontario Canada, for months.
Physicists, oil and gas companies and your governments all know that six feet (2 meters) above the ground (above head height) the air is charged with more than 200 volts positive in respect to the ground. Three feet (1 meter) off the ground the air is charged with 100 volts positive of free electrical energy. In comparison, your electrical outlets and home appliances are all powered with 120 volts positive and you car battery has a charged of just 12 volts positive. That 200 volts + charged air is a source of free, unlimited, unmetered and carbon-free electrical energy. The energy is electromagnetic (EM) energy. It can and has already been tapped into … using a simple antenna.
We have the technology today to amplify 12 volts and generate as much as 40,000 volts of energy. Ignition coils do this in every gasoline automotive and gas generator ignition systems. Ignition coils are used to step up the voltage of the engines 12 volt car battery to 20,000 to 40,000 volt range. The increased voltage is required for the current to jump the spark gap in spark plugs, producing the ignition of the air/fuel mixture. We can use ignition coils to step up the voltage of electromagnetic energy. If 12 volts can be “instantly” increased to 40,000 volts then 1 volt of antenna induced electromagnetic energy can be instantly increased to 3333.33 volts. Add a voltage regulator (a device already mass produced that is designed to automatically maintain a constant voltage level) to the circuit and you can produce a “constant” 120 volt AC power supply to an AC electric motor and power an electric car.
How did electromagnetic energy power the vehicle? Research data indicates that Tesla’s mystery box was nothing more than a simple regenerative vacuum tube radio wave receiver. A type of electronic instrument that receives radio frequencies from thin air and amplifies the received weak radio signal. This simple receiver makes use of vacuum tubes, resistors and wires (the exact same electronic components used by Tesla) to increase the power and/or amplitude of a signal. The main component of Tesla’s “Power Receiver” is the vacuum tube – also called a valve amplifier. The simplest valve amplifier was invented by John Ambrose Fleming while working for the Marconi Company in London in 1904 and named the diode, as it had two electrodes. The diode conducted electricity in one direction only and was used as a radio detector and a rectifier.
The diode was most likely used as an instrument to convert AC (alternating current is when the movement of electric charge periodically reverses direction) of RF to DC (direct current is the flow of electric charge is only in one direction).
In 1906 Lee De Forest added a third electrode and invented the first electronic amplifying device, the triode, which he named the Audion. This additional control grid modulates the current that flows between cathode and anode.
Tesla used valve amplifiers to increase the power or amplitude of the ordinary radio waves that were received by the 6-foot vertical antenna rod that was fitted into the rear section of the car. An antenna is a transducer that transmits or receives electromagnetic waves. In other words, Tesla used the antenna mounted on the rear of the car to convert the freely available electromagnetic waves called radio waves into electrical current.
Tesla bought vacuum tube diodes which are vacuum tubes (valve amplifiers) with two electrodes; a plate and a cathode. A diode is a two-terminal electronic component that conducts electric current in only one direction while blocking current in the opposite direction (the reverse direction). Thus, the diode can be thought of as an electronic version of a check valve. This unidirectional behavior is called rectification, and is used to convert alternating current (AC or the power that comes from your home’s electrical outlets) to direct current (DC or the power from a battery). AC power circuit is a sine wave. Audio and radio signals carried on electrical wires (such as an antenna) are also examples of alternating current.
Tesla used the vacuum tubes, wires and assorted resistors to build a radio wave receiver/amplifier 24 inches long, 12 inches wide and 6 inches high, with a pair of 3-inch rods 1/4” in diameter sticking out. The pair of rods that Tesla pushed in were used to close (complete) the circuit – like an on/off switch. The rod ends were most likely the positive and negative leads (connections) between the car antenna and and the radio wave receiver/amplifier. By pushing them into the box containing the radio wave receiver/amplifier the connection was completed allowing the radio waves that were received from the air by the antenna to flow through the receiver/amplifier to the electric motor. This technology is used today when you plug an electric guitar into an amplifier. Like the electric guitar amplifier the signal generated by striking a cord (string) of a guitar would travel from the guitar through the wire connecting the guitar to the amplifier and into the amplifier where the barely audible tone would then be amplified. An electric guitar without an amplifier is essential an air guitar until it is plugged into an amplifier. The amplifier amplifies the sound wave generated by striking the strings of the electric guitar. Guitar amplifiers are available today that are powered by a single 9 volt battery. Today’s car audio systems use just 12 volts from the car battery to amplify exponentially the extremely inaudible radio wave into eardrum bursting pop, rock, country, rap and classical music. Tesla used this very technology – 80 years ago – to amplify and convert the invisible and inaudible electromagnetic energy called radio waves into electricity to power the AC motor in the 1931 Pierce-Arrow.
The word electricity comes from the fact that current is nothing more than electrons moving along a conductor, like an antenna, that have been harnessed for energy. Tesla used an antenna (an electrical conductor) and an amplifier to harness and then amplify energy.
Why hasn’t anyone revealed this 80 year old secret? Because Tesla built a free energy device. A device that would threaten the oil industry, the nuclear energy industry and the hydro electric power monopoly. A device that would bankrupt every oil refinery in the World. A device that would literally put an end to Global warming. Disease and illnesses caused by pollution from oil and gas products would simply disappear. If Tesla’s invention was put into mass production the World would never have been involved in wars in the Middle East and Afghanistan, the Exxon Mobil and BP oil spills would never have occurred, and millions of people would still be alive and very healthy today.

The Electric Auto that almost triumphed: Power Source of ‘31 car still a mystery

It is a mystery car once demonstrated by Nikola Tesla, developer of alternating current, that might have made electrics triumphant.
Supported by the Pierce-Arrow Co. and Westinghouse in 1931, he took the gasoline engine from a new Pierce-Arrow and replaced it with an 80-horsepower alternating-current electric motor with no external power source. From the electric motor trailed two very thick cables, which connected with the dashboard. In addition, there was an ordinary 12-volt storage battery. (“There was a 12-volt Willard battery installed in the car, but it was for the lights only and much too small to run the car. In any case.”) The motor was rated at 80 horsepower. Maximum rotor speed was stated to be 30 turns per second (1800 rpm). A 6-foot vertical antenna rod was fitted into the rear section of the car.
At the appointed time, Nikola Tesla arrived from New York City and inspected the Pierce-Arrow automobile. He then went to a local radio store and purchased a handful of tubes (12 radio vacuum tubes), wires and assorted resistors. A box measuring 24 inches long, 12 inches wide and 6 inches high was assembled housing the circuit. The “power receiver” was then placed into the dashboard of the car and its wires connected to the antenna and to the air-cooled, brushless motor. Two rods 1/4″ in diameter stuck out of the box about 3″ in length. Tesla began making adjustments on the “power receiver”
Mr. Tesla got into the driver’s seat, pushed the two rods in and stated, “We now have power”. He put the car into gear and it moved forward! This vehicle, powered by an A.C. motor, was driven to speeds of 90 m.p.h. and performed better than any internal combustion engine of its day! One week was spent testing the vehicle. Several newspapers in Buffalo reported this test. When asked where the power came from, Tesla replied, “From the ethers all around us”.
Ethers is Electromagnetic radiation. Radio waves is electromagnetic radiation which has the lowest frequency, the longest wavelength, and is produced by charged particles moving back and forth.
