Kidnapped civilians unlawfully deported and detained by U.S. for 12 years
Heinous Crimes, World news Friday, January 10th, 20145 years ago this month Barack Obama signed an executive order on January 22, 2009 (his second day in office) that ordered the closure of Guantanamo Bay by no later than Jan 2010.
Sec. 3. Closure of Detention Facilities at Guantánamo. “The detention facilities at Guantánamo for individuals covered by this order shall be closed as soon as practicable, and no later than 1 year from the date of this order. If any individuals covered by this order remain in detention at Guantánamo at the time of closure of those detention facilities, they shall be returned to their home country, released, transferred to a third country, or transferred to another United States detention facility in a manner consistent with law and the national security and foreign policy interests of the United States.” – http://www.whitehouse.gov/the-press-office/closure-guantanamo-detention-facilities.
As of Jan 3, 2014 Guantanamo still holds an estimated 155 prisoners, including 76 who have already been cleared for repatriation.
Most prisoners at Gitmo were civilians who were illegally kidnapped, deported to Gitmo (breach of articles 49 and 76 of the Geneva Conventions prohibiting deportations) and tortured (in violation of 18 U.S. Code Chapter 113C) by the CIA through its illegal extraordinary rendition program.
Kidnapping, deportation and detention of Afghan civilians are criminal offenses. The 2001 invasion and 12 year occupation of Afghanistan by the United States, Canada, the UK and UN/NATO forces constitute war crimes, crime against peace, and crimes against humanity. Afghanistan did not attack the U.S. on 9/11. There were no hijackers from Afghanistan. The U.S. attacked Afghanistan to revive the Opium drug trade that the Taliban had successfully wiped out in the spring of 2001 and to build the Unocal (Chevron) Trans-Afghanistan Pipeline from the Caspian area, through Afghanistan and Pakistan, to the Indian Ocean.
The United States, Canada, the UK, the UN (representing the Crown – the Roman Catholic Church Pope – since 1948) and NATO (the Vatican’s Fourth Reich Waffen SS Forces) countries participating in the unlawful war of aggression and occupation of predominately Muslim Afghanistan are terrorists and war criminals. The Afghan people and their “elected” Taliban leaders have been “patriotically” defending their country and countrymen against an illegal and unprovoked armed attack by the United States, Canada, the UK and other Catholic Church Fourth Reich SS (SS = Santa Sede = Latin for Holy See) crusader countries. The leaders of the United States, Canada, the UK and all other participating ISAF countries are guilty of heinous crimes against peace and humanity, not the Afghan people or its Taliban leadership.
