Ethnic cleansing of Black Libyans by NATO and NATO backed terrorists.

The NATO backed terrorist groups in Misrata Libya have driven out the entire Black population of the city, according to a chilling story in the Wall Street Journal: “Libya City Torn by Tribal Feud.”  These foreign paid terrorists later set their sights on the city of Tawergha, 25 miles away, and vowed to cleanse it of all Black people once they seize the city. This the perfect definition of “genocide”.

On December 9, 1948 the United Nations approved the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide. This convention establishes “genocide” as an international crime, which signatory nations “undertake to prevent and punish.” It defines genocide as:

Genocide means any of the following acts committed with intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial or religious group, as such:
(a) Killing members of the group;
(b) Causing serious bodily or mental harm to members of the group;
(c) Deliberately inflicting on the group conditions of life calculated to bring about its physical destruction in whole or in part;
(d) Imposing measures intended to prevent births within the group;
(e) Forcibly transferring children of the group to another group.

According to the Journal’s article, the “rebels” refer to themselves as “the brigade for purging slaves, black skin.” The Journal quotes rebel Cmdr. Ibrahim al-Halbous saying, of Black Libyans, “They should pack up” and that “Tawergha no longer exists, only Misrata.”

The Fourth Geneva Convention of 1949 explicitly forbids deportations in conditions of war. “Individual or mass forcible transfers, as well as deportations of protected persons from occupied territory to the territory of the Occupying Power or to that of any other country, occupied or not, are prohibited, regardless of their motive.” Also forbidden is the common practice of the occupying power deporting or transferring parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies.

NATO Terrorists threatening to kill Black Libyans

Terrorism refers to violent acts which are intended to create fear (terror), are perpetrated for a religious, political or ideological goal, and deliberately target or disregard the safety of non-combatants (civilians).  Terrorism describes the violent acts perpetrated by the NATO backed rebels against the civilian population and government of Libya.

Since the beginning of the Libya conflict that the foreign paid “terrorists” have embraced racism and used the allegation that Muammar al-Qaddafi had employed mercenaries from other African countries as a pretext to massacre Black Libyans.

The U.S. French, British, Canadian and NATO’s support for these foreign paid racist terrorists and NATO’s indiscriminate bombing campaign of civilians and civilian infrastructure has resulted in the mass murder of thousands of Libyan civilians. Even members of the U.S. government can see that NATO is committing war crimes in Libya.  U.S. Congressman Rep. Dennis Kucinich has written to the UN to ask for the International Criminal Court (ICC) to investigate NATO commanders for war crimes in connection to Libyan civilians being targeted and killed.

“If civilians were killed NATO needs to be held accountable,” ~ Rep. Kucinich “If you kill people, there has to be consequences.” He said such an investigation would not involve all NATO member countries but only the commanders now in charge of the attacks on Libya.

Soon after French and U.S. war planes began attacking Libya on March 19, 2011 Kucinich, together with nine other lawmakers, filed a lawsuit against President Obama seeking to have a U.S. District Court Judge declare the U.S. involvement in the Libya war unconstitutional. He says President Obama is in violation of Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution which holds that only Congress can declare war and involve “our young men and women in harms way.”

Kucinich also dismissed President Obama’s defense that his Administration is not in violation of the War Powers Resolution of 1973 because the U.S. supportive role in the current war in Libya doesn’t fit within the definition of “hostilities” as envisioned in the resolution.  The constitution made it absolutely clear that only the U.S. Congress had the authority to declare war.

“Dropping bombs on Tripoli — if any country had 2,000 flights over the united states, which is how many sorties the US flew above Libya,” Kuchinic said, referring to the initial attacks involving U.S, pilots before the handover to NATO, “bombing us, we would say that’s an act of war.”

Congressman Dennis Kucinich wrote to Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, Luis Moreno-Ocampo, and Secretary General of the United Nations, Ban Ki-moon, urging the United Nations and the Court to examine NATO’s expanded use of drone bombers, which have had a civilian casualty rate as high as 32% – according to the New America Foundation.

“NATO has taken actions in Afghanistan not sanctioned by the U.N. and in Libya pursuant to a U.N. mandate which raise serious questions about military operations in those countries and the lack of accountability for the loss of civilian life.

“It is imperative that NATO and its commanders are held directly accountable under international criminal statutes for actions which place the lives of innocent civilians at risk.

The United Nations has an obligation under international law to ensure that military operations it has authorized are conducted in accordance with such laws.  NATO has repeatedly and wantonly neglected to follow the law.  The United Nations, if it is to continue to be a credible interlocutor among nations, has no choice but to conduct an independent investigation of actions taken by NATO and to pursue prosecution where warranted,” wrote Kucinich in the letter.

On March 21, 2011 U.S. Congressman Ron Paul voiced his strong opposition to the attack on Libya, and made it clear that the president is subverting US national sovereignty by bypassing Congress to engage in illegal acts of aggression.

Appearing on Freedom Watch with Judge Andrew Napolitano, the Congressman pulled no punches when explaining why he believes Obama went to the UN for authority to drop bombs on Libya, rather than congress.

“I think he philosophically believes in one world government,” Paul stated.

“He wants to keep nudging us in that direction. I don’t believe he has a conviction that national sovereignty has any value. So therefore if they can diminish the Congress.” he continued.

“If he diminishes the Congress and he can get his authority from the United Nations then this enhances what he believes in. But he is not alone, the leadership in both parties has been nudging in that direction for a long time.” the Congressman added.

“To think of all the effort that the founders went to to make the Congress the most important body, that they are now the most willing to give up their prerogatives and give it to the executive branch and the judicial branch, and onward and onward. Our leaderships in the House as long as I’ve been there have always deferred to the executive branch.” he said.

Paul once again urged the American people to recognize the military incursion into Libya as a war of opportunity.

“It is unnecessary, it is wrong, it has nothing to do with national security, it has nothing to do with the defence of this country.” he said.
