The Bible and Bible prophecy reveals the Roman Catholic Pope as the Antichrist.

Who is the Antichrist? Revelation 13:16 reveals to us who – “And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead”

He is the beast called Satan. Who is Satan?  He is the one who violates the Third Commandment (You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain) by claiming to be God. Who on Earth today vainly claims to be God? There is only one person on Earth who has claimed for almost 2000 years to be God. Throughout the centuries of Rome’s existence, the popes have all claimed to be divine. As the supposed successor of Peter, the Pope claims infallibility, the position of God on Earth, and ability to judge and excommunicate angels.

The Catholic Council of Trent in 1545 declared this: ” We define that the Holy Apostolic See and the Roman Pontiff hold primacy over the whole world.”

In the same century, Cardinal Robert Bellarmine stated this: “All names which in the Scriptures are applied to Christ, by virtue of which it is established that he is over the church, all the same names are applied to the Pope.”

In 1895 an article from the Catholic National said this: “The Pope is not only the representative of Jesus Christ, but he is Jesus Christ, Himself, hidden under the veil of flesh.”

Millions have already received the mark of the beast. Who are they? Roman Catholics. The Roman Catholic religion is the only religion in the World that requires you to receive the mark of the beast. The first marking of the beast is made without you consent. It is done during the Roman Catholic’s sacrament of Baptism. Catholics are instructed by the Roman Catholic Church to have their children baptized as soon as possible after they are born. As a baby they are too young to speak for themselves and because they can’t speak they can’t refuse to receive the marking of the beast. As a baby the beast forces them to receive his mark on their forehead.  Only through receiving the mark of the beast at baptism can a person become a member of the Roman Catholic Church

The second time you receive the marking of the beast is during First Communion. Again, too young to understand and refuse what they are about to receive – the mark of the beast. At this time Roman Catholic boys and girls receive the mark of the beast in their right hand. This marking is very important, as the Eucharist is one of the central focuses of the Sun worshiping Roman Catholic Church. Every time you receive Communion you receive and consume the sacrifice of the beast.  Communion is the Satanic cannibalism of the flesh of the tortured and murdered Jesus Christ. By willingly receiving in your own hand and then eating the flesh of Jesus Christ you are from then on possessed by Satan.

The third time a Catholic receives the mark of the beast is when they receive Confirmation to profess the faith. With Confirmation you are more closely linked to the anti-Christian Roman Catholic Church. You are made strong soldiers of the Antichrist, and so you are more firmly obliged by word and deed to be faithful to the Antichrist, spreading and defending the Catholic faith.

According to Roman Catholic Church teaching, a sacramental character is an indelible spiritual mark (the meaning of the word character in Latin) imprinted by two of the seven sacraments: Baptism and Confirmation.   This admission of the Roman Catholic Magisterium itself, makes the link between the mark of the beast and the mark given in Roman Catholic sacraments.

Scripture clearly describes the Mark of the Beast as being given on the forehead and/or right hand. In baptism the priest/bishop makes the sign of the cross on the catechumen‘s forehead with his right thumb, saying, “Ego te baptizo in nomine Patris, et Filii, et Spiritus Sancti.” (I baptize thee in the Name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost).  For Catholics, the sacrament is not a mere formality; it is the very “mark” of a Catholic.

The first 4 commandments of the Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:2-17) also reveals the Pope to be the Anti-Christ

1 “I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me.

2 “You shall not make unto you any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:  (the statues and pictures of Jesus Christ and Mary are graven images.  So is the crucifix) You shall not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: (the Pope forces Catholics to bow down to them and to serve these graven images) for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my Commandments.

3 “You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.  (“The Pope takes the place of Jesus Christ on earth…by divine right the Pope has supreme and full power in faith, in morals over each and every pastor and his flock. He is the true vicar, the head of the entire church, the father and teacher of all Christians. He is the infallible ruler, the founder of dogmas, the author of and the judge of councils; the universal ruler of truth, the arbiter of the world, the supreme judge of heaven and earth, the judge of all, being judged by no one, God himself on earth.” Quoted in the New York Catechism.)

4 “Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it. ~ (“The Church changed the observance of the Sabbath to Sunday by right of the divine, infallible authority given to her by her founder, Jesus Christ. The Protestant, claiming the Bible to be the only guide of faith, has no warrant for observing Sunday. In this matter the Seventh-day Adventist is the only consistent Protestant.“—The Catholic Universe Bulletin, August 14, 1942, p. 4.)

Saturday is the Sabbath day.  Sunday was the day that Mithras was worshiped and it is well documented that Roman Emperor Constantine along with most of the Roman army was a worshiper of Mithras. The name Mithras is a form of Mithra, the name of an Iranian Sun god.  Mithras was a pagan religion.  It was a mystery religion practised in the Roman Empire from about the 1st to 4th centuries AD. Romans also called the religion Mysteries of Mithras or Mysteries of the Persians.

On 7 March 321, Constantine I decreed that Sunday would be observed as the Roman day of rest: “On the venerable Day of the Sun let the magistrates and people residing in cities rest, and let all workshops be closed. In the country, however, persons engaged in agriculture may freely and lawfully continue their pursuits; because it often happens that another day is not so suitable for grain-sowing or vine-planting; lest by neglecting the proper moment for such operations the bounty of heaven should be lost.”

The most obvious proof that the Pope is the Anti-Christs is the fact that the Roman Catholic church is headquartered in Rome, Italy (The Roman Catholic Church has its own powerful City-State, the Vatican.) and not in the Christian Holy Lands of the Middle East.  St. Peter’s Basillica is built on top of the Circus of Nero and a cemetery. The circus was the site of the first organized, state-sponsored martyrdoms of Christians in 65.  After 248 years of Christianity persecution by the Romans the Romans decided to build St Peters Basilica in memory of Peter, not Jesus Christ.  It was built near where the Roman Emperor Nero crucified Peter and many thousands of other Christians.  Nowhere near where Jesus Christ was crucified nor buried.  From a Christian point of view, Rome is the most barbaric persecutors of the Christians.

The Roman Catholic Church unofficially came into being in 312 A.D., at the time of the so-called “miraculous conversion” to Christianity of the Roman Emperor Constantine.  While claiming to be a Christian Constantine still worshiped the sun god Mithras. Although Christianity was not made the official religion of the Roman Empire until the edicts of Theodosius I in 380 and 381 A.D., Constantine, from 312 A.D. until his death in 337, was engaged in the process of simultaneously building pagan temples and Christian churches, and was slowly turning over the reins of his pagan priesthood to the Bishop of Rome. However, the family of Constantine did not give up the last vestige of his priesthood until after the disintegration of the Roman Empire – that being the title the emperors bore as heads of the pagan priesthood – Pontifex Maximus – a title which the popes have inherited. The popes also inherited Constantine’s titles as the self-appointed civil head of the church – Summus Pontifex (Vicar of Christ and Bishop of Bishops).
